Only BELIEVE!

I was asked to give the message at a service today. I have an understanding of 'what is written' but I don't get a 'complete' heart knowledge until I actually 'speak it out'. And that was the way it was today. My message was on 'Only believe'. Recently an evangelist was in town. He gave some 'wonderful words' to several people. He stopped, placed his hand on my head, and spoke ONE word. BELIEVE. I thought to myself, 'I do believe'. But after today I can tell you (better) what is missing to make the 'belief' experiential and not just head knowledge. The message followed on:

The MIND of CHRIST and 'what we BELIEVE'. The mind is the crucial point of our walk. Christ died on Calvary - in Greek, CRANIUM, the brain case. In Hebrew, Golgotha, the SKULL. The critical factor of 'transforming our MIND. WHAT we believe in our mind is either LIFE or DEATH. There is really 'no middle ground' and if there is - it is an illusion. When all is said and done with there is left:

GOD or SATAN

HEAVEN or HELL

LIFE or DEATH

AUTHORITY / REBELLION

FAITH or FEAR

HOT or COLD

Hebrew letters depict an 'action'. Is there a difference between a Christian, a church-goer, and a BELIEVER? CHURCH is not a building. It is not an 'activity'. People point to a building and call it 'church', but what really should be said is, 'that is a building where the CHURCH meets'. WE are the CHURCH [hd(] - AYIN, DALET, HEI. The CHURCH is not a NT creation, but has existed since the beginning [Acts 7:38].

AYIN is the letter of DIVINE PROVIDENCE, the EYE of God always watching over his people - the SHEEP of his pasture. AYIN - Aramaic - is SHEEP.

DALET is the DOOR through which the humble man enters into God's presence. The ancient symbol for DALET appears as a 'man's tongue. There are two doors in our 'existence' - LIFE and DEATH. We are born, we die. Proverbs tells us, 'Life and death is in the power of the tongue.'

HEI means to POINT TO, LOOK, BEHOLD. John the Baptist pointed to Jesus and declared, BEHOLD the LAMB of GOD, who takes away the sin of the world.

God created MAN [ADaM] in His IMAGE. The Hebrew letters actually show this image as that of a 'fisherman'. When Jesus, the Word, was made flesh on earth, he chose to disciple fishermen. Remember that fisherman don't always have 'smooth waters', nor do they all catch a fish right away. Sometimes it takes a lot of time and effort. FAITH is required for the fisherman to persevere. It takes FAITH for a fisherman to go to a vast body of water, choose an area, cast his rod and EXPECT / BELIEVE that that action will merit him a 'fish'.

By symbol we see the fish hook, the rod and the water. By 'name of letter' we see "JESUS, MESSIAH having a HEART that walked by FAITH. His MIND and HEART were in demonstration of power of the Word (aciton) as ours should be. For each of us to walk in the image we are created in we must CATCH, TAKE HOLD of the AUTHORITY of (the water of) the WORD. Authority does not take the form of a 'baseball bat', but of a servant, as Jesus taught by example, carrying out the Word of His Father / Master / Teacher. ADAM was created in 'God's image'. The 'authority' is not 'ours', but that we are a 'steward of CHRIST'S authority'. It is not 'I' that live, but that 'Christ lives in me / ADAM.

When God created ADAM, He was seeing an image of the TESTIMONY of JESUS MESSIAH - 'the fisherman of men', the way he walked in obedience to God's Word. The OX is 'DOCILE *', an animal of great STRENGTH, able to be YOKED to bring in the THOUSANDFOLD increase of the field - which is the meaning of ALEF which also identifies itself as MASTER / LEADER. DOCILE means 'ready to accept control or instruction; - ready to be discipled, master our tongue. Life and death are in the power of the tongue. The tongue must be yoked to the Word of God to produce life. It is the 'spirit' of 'your Father' 'who speaks in you.' That works both ways. If your words are not in agreement with the Word of God it is the spirit of your 'father the devil' who speaks in you. IF you say, 'I have a Word from God' or 'I heard an audible voice' and it was 'GOD' - - - IF it is not in agreement with the Word of God it is NOT GOD. He is not divided against Himself.

Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me,

ADAM also reveals the 'mystery of godliness.

1 Timothy 3
14 These things I write to you, though I hope to come to you shortly;
15 but if I am delayed, I write so that you may know how you ought

...of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.
16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:

ADAM prophesies of the 'mystery of godliness'. He was as 'lamb led to slaughter' and he opened not up his mouth. He was 'docile', ready to accept control and instruction'.

Here is something that you can give thought to - the 'I say' (s) of Jesus. Jesus speaks in regard to 'blood covenant' (marriage covenant', that the 'two have become one - and 'can not be separated - only through death'. ADAM is God's BLOOD. EVE is LIFE. Leviticus 17:11 tells us 'the life of the flesh is in the 'blood'. YOU CAN NOT SEPARATE 'LIFE & BLOOD'. You can not have 'your body' in one place and 'cut off the blood supply' and expect to live. Adam and Eve can not be separated, The body and blood 'can not be separated'. Neither can the bread and wine. BREAD lechem [exl] is the picture of 'heart life of the water of the Word'. The WINE yayin [ayy] is a picture of a 'servant's authority as a kingdom heir'. A servant is responsible to carry out the authority of his Master's Word. 'Heart life' and authority 'can not be separated'. One without the other is 'dead'. The HEART LIFE and the MIND must be in agreement. 'As a man thinks in his heart - so is he'.

• exercising authority in behalf of a sovereign king

Matthew 22:37
Jesus said to him, "'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart,
with all your soul, and with all your mind.'

As Christ exercised authority in behalf of His father, a sovereign king, we also as a STEWARD, act in obedience to that authority, and as such, 'exercise the authority in behalf of a sovereign king. Our MIND must choose to RULE and REIGN in and with the WORD of GOD DESTROYING the words of our 'WICKED MOUTH'. The sages attribute DISEASE to the 'wicked mouth' and rightly so. Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks - and reveals WHAT WE BELIEVE. As ADAM prophesied of the 'mystery of godliness' BELIEVE declares it.

BELIEF is not BELIEF until it is ACTED UPON. Our TONGUE must receive the instruction and control of the WORD and RULE and REIGN as a KINGDOM HEIR. The 'Word of a KING' does not return VOID. If it should - the king would be deposed. Not so with GOD. In order to have 'abundant life' and 'flow with it - we have to become ONE with the Word of God.

I will leave you with one thought for now - - regarding the 'faith of Abraham' - since it is mentioned on four occasions. God created man - ADAM - in His image, the image of a fisherman, one who has faith to stay on troubled waters, persevering in FAITH that His 'seed' will bring forth abundantly. The 'image of God', the foundation of our FAITH. DO WE BELIEVE? One note of caution here: FAITH works - whether faith in God's word - or our own faith. And that is the 'danger part'. I have friends who have 'acted on faith' - but that faith was not in alignment with the Word of God. They indeed received what they had faith for, but the Word says, 'those works will burn'. Do we BELIEVE God?

Romans 4:3
For what does the Scripture say? "Abraham BELIEVED God,
and it was accounted to him for righteousness."

Galatians 3:6
just as Abraham "BELIEVED' God,
and it was accounted to him for righteousness."

James 2:23
And the Scripture was fulfilled which says,
"Abraham BELIEVED God,
and it was accounted to him for righteousness."
And he was called the friend of God.
