Israel is a nation 'that can not be numbered for the multitude', the promise God gave to Abraham that his descendants would be as the 'sand of the sea' - having a 'heart life based on the authority of the Water of the Word.' God is raising a nation 'Israel', a 'rebellious people' out of the DARKNESS of this world's wisdom, into His glorious LIGHT of the Word of God. Flesh versus Spirit.
DARKNESS was upon the face of the deep.
And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the WATERS.

SAMEK is the 15th Hebrew letter, called the CIRCLE or the WEDDING RING. Make note that the prodigal son is spoken of in the book of Luke, chapter 15. He 'gathers his possessions' and goes to a far [makros: long] country, wastes his possessions on prodigal living, and then in the 15th verse, joins himself with a citizen who sends him into the field to feed pigs. By the 17th verse [PEH: mouth] he comes to himself and the 18th verse [TZADI: righteousness] he desires to tell his father he has sinned and wants to return.

God called the 'gathering together of the waters' - peoples, multitudes, nations and tongues - - SEAS. And the multitudes will gather to Him on the 'Day of the Lord' [God's 5th ordained feast.

In Revelation 21 - Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. The 'wicked' are as a 'troubled sea', which Jude calls 'raging waves of the sea'. In Hebrew thought, a SEA is that which 'conceals'. There are fish in the sea, but they are 'concealed'. In the 'end' there will be 'nothing concealed' - all will be 'revealed'. There will be 'no more sea'. There will be no more wickedness.

Our God is a consuming FIRE [Hebrews 12:29]. JESUS is LIVING WATER [John 4:10], the essence of HEAVEN: shamayim: sha (fire) mayim (water). Jesus spent much time preaching by the SEA, particularly the SEA of GALILEE (as a circuit / circle), in the territory of Naphtali [wrestling].

In Revelation 11, the two 'anointed ones', two lampstands - KAF having power to suppress evil (as Elijah), give testimony for 42 months and are killed. In verse 11, the life of God enters them and verse 12 [HEART of a disciple] they are called / caught up / raptured - to heaven.
John 12
27 Now My soul is troubled, and what shall I say? 'Father, save Me
.... from this hour'? But for this purpose I came to this hour.
28 Father, glorify Your name." Then a voice came from heaven, saying,
.... "I have both glorified it and will glorify it again."
29 Therefore the people who stood by and heard it said that it had thundered.
....Others said, "An angel has spoken to Him."

35 Then Jesus said to them, "A little while longer the light is with you.
....Walk while you have the light, lest darkness overtake you;
....he who walks in darkness does not know where he is going.
....36 While you have the light, believe in the light, that you may become sons of light.
...." These things Jesus spoke, and departed, and was hidden from them.
Revelation 12 then opens with the 'woman and the dragon', the woman pregnant and 'in birth pangs', giving birth to her child who was caught up to the throne. This woman then flees - is in FLIGHT - to the wilderness [Hagar, the Jerusalem that now is (Galatians 4) name means FLIGHT] for 42 months. [See Matthew 24:20; Mark 13:18] - 'for then there will be great tribulation.' There is a war in heaven and the devil, accuser of the brethren, no longer prevails - as the brethren overcame him by blood of the Lamb, the Word of their testimony and not loving their lives to the death. In John 12 Jesus foretold of the provision for the ruler of the world - the devil - to be cast out through his victory on the cross. The provision states 'will be' - not 'is now'. Verse 16 suggests an earthquake occurs swallowing 'Jerusalem's enemy, but the dragon is intent on killing all offspring who carry the testimony of Jesus Christ.
Revelation 13 opens with John standing on the 'sand of the sea' seeing a BEAST rising from the sea.
