Hebrew Alphabet and Gematria -1 of 3

Gematria (Greek 'geometry) is a method of interpreting the Hebrew scriptures by computing the numerical value of words, based on those of their constituent letters. The Scriptures become an intricately woven work, like the tapestries of the tabernacle of meeting. We will be looking at the 'power of 10':

Life begins with being able to submit to authority and be 'teachable' that we know how to speak and act in the way that IS LIFE.

Christ's house - his WIFE, the holy Jerusalem founded on the apostles, her gates the twelve tribes [Revelation 21] will produce heirs who use the authority of Christ as the 'POWER to SUPPRESS evil. This is the BEGINNING of wisdom in the fear of the Lord. These listen and hear the 'voice of God', the living Word. They do not contend or strive, they bless, as Christ blessed.

b - k - r BEYT - KAF - REISH rkb is an actual word meaning FIRSTBORN, bearing 'new fruit', bearing her first child. Christ is the firstborn Son, firstborn from the dead, and head of the church [Colossians 1:18] exalted to the right hand of power [Matthew 26:64; Luke 22:69].

The 'law' written on the mind and the heart is the Spirit of Life in Christ [2 Corinthians 3:3; Romans 8:2]. It releases from LEX TALIONIS. [See post 34 on 7-05-11]

g - l - # ...is the word 'galash' #lg meaning 'a flock of goats as appearing' from Mount Gilead (the Rocky region). Goats are known for their bellow. A bellow is a sound, generally 'a deep shout' [passing through death]. Goat from its root word lends itself to the meaning of being 'cut-off' as the 'scapegoat who bore the peoples sin was sent into the wilderness / desert and was 'cut-off'. When Christ spoke to Simon he called him Peter, one to be as a Rock. A rock is 'firm, steadfast unmovable.' In Hebrew the word peh-ter r+p means 'firstborn'. Notice the message of the letters: p mouth.. + snake.. r mind - to be changed to - p mouth ..+ good Word.. r mind. The kingdom of darkness will be transformed to a kingdom of light. The 'angel of death' - the law [2Corinthinians 3:7 NKJV], the ministry of death written and engraved on stones - now written on living stones [1 Peter 2:5]. The law is a tutor to bring one to Christ [Galatians 3:24]. Christ came for the 'church of the firstborn' [Hebrews 12:23], for those who are 'registered in heaven', DISCIPLES that are a 'mirror image' of their teacher [Revelation 12:11] overcoming by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, not loving their lives to the death. SNOW means 'white linen (blood) of the slain'. The Proverbs 31:21 wife is not afraid of 'snow' for her household for they are all clothed in scarlet [blood]'. The 'firstborn' are 'cut-off'. As the angel of death passed over the firstborn sparing them from death in Egypt, the firstborn now pass through death, death having no power over them.

DALET is the DOOR which the humble enter into the realization of God's dwelling place below. The DOOR is the 'door (tent flap) of the BEYT. Paul calls our body a 'tent' a 'dwelling place' for Christ. Our 'tent flap' is our 'tongue'. There are two doors in our life, the 'door of birth / life' and the 'door of death'. LIFE and DEATH are in the power of the tongue [Proverbs 18:21]. We either speak the wisdom of God, the water of the Word [Ephesians 5:26] or we speak death. Dwelling with God in thought, Word, and action are the MARK of the Christian, the 'impression of the cross', of 'perfect love'.
