TRANSLATION

We just spoke of speech - social intercourse - that 'gives life'. Intercourse (social or sexual) has been designed to produce fruit. Sexual intercourse produces the 'fruit of the womb'. Social intercourse is to produce the 'fruit of the Spirit'. When God spoke - it was. When we speak (life or death) - - it is. If we speak life, we birth the 'fruit of the spirit. If we speak death, we 'abort' the life God has for us.

Now we are looking at 'translation'. When one does not speak a specific language - it is 'translated'. We see in the Bible that Enoch was translated and that we also, through Christ, have been 'translated', that we 'not see death'.

Colossians 1:13
He has delivered us from the power of darkness
and translated [meth-is'-tay-mee] us into the kingdom of the Son of His love ...

1. to transpose, transfer, remove from one place to another
   1. of change of situation or place
   2. to remove from the office of a steward
   3. to depart from life, to die

Genesis 5
23 And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years
24 And Enoch walked with God:
... and he was not [וְאֵינֶנּוּ, כִּי-לָקַח];
... for God took [לָקַח law-kakh] him.

ENOCH

Galatians 1
3 Grace to you and peace from God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ,
4 who gave Himself for our sins,
.. that He might deliver us from this present evil age,
.. according to the will of our God and Father,
5 to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.

Hebrews 11:5
By faith Enoch was translated [ met-at-ith'-ay-mee ]
so that he did not see death, "

met-at-ith'-ay-mee

to transpose (two things, one of which is put in place of the other)

1. to transfer
2. to change
3. to transfer one's self or suffer one's self to be transferred
   1. to go or pass over
   2. to fall away or desert from one person or thing to another

..and was not found, because God had taken him";
..for before his translation [met-ath'-es-is] he had this testimony,..that he pleased God.

1. transfer: from one place to another
2. to change
   1. of things instituted or established

TRANSLATION

6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him,
..for he who comes to God must believe that He is,
..and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.


Colossians 1:13
He HAS DELIVERED US from the power of darkness and
translated [meth-is'-tay-mee] us into the kingdom of the Son of His love ...

Through Christ we HAVE BEEN TRANSLATED from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of the Son of His love. The kingdom of heaven is upon us. It is up to us - - to choose to walk in it. If we do not understand the language of heaven - - with our translation into the kingdom of the Son of His love - - we can understand.
