The Ari z"l explains that the place of "pure marble stone" is where the higher and the lower waters unite. Here one must not call out 'water-water,' as if to divide the higher and lower waters. "The place of pure marble stone" is the place of truth--the Divine power to bear two opposites simultaneously; in the words of Rabbi Shalom ben Adret: "the paradox of paradoxes." Here "the exaltation of God" and His "closeness" to man unite with the "lowliness of man" and his "distance" from God.

John 1:1 in the BEGINNING was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God
If God had spoken only 'one word - B'RASHYT' - it would have been enough. This one word has much to show. Looking at if from Jesus Christ's fulfillment we see: A relationship of the pure mind of God - God Himself becoming man, the Word made flesh and dwelt among us. Jesus received our punishment, the death penalty of sin, extending us His Grace. God's will for 'exemption from judgment' and for his creation to walk in truth - in simple faith.

Water, the letter MEM, is wisdom. In the beginning the waters / wisdom above were indistinguishable from the waters / wisdom below. All was 'God' - His WORD 'light'. But when darkness was seen on the face of the earth, the Spirit of God called for a separation of the 'waters / wisdom above (light) from the waters below (darkness).

Jesus, the light of the world, just as the 'firmament', the supporting waters from above, Jesus came dividing the 'waters from the waters', heavenly wisdom from worldly wisdom. On day 3 God gathered the 'waters under the heavens' into one place. In the book of Revelation 16 Jesus speaks of coming as a thief, and of a 'gathering together' at one place - Armageddon (the place of crowds),

The last letter or seal of the word emet, "truth," itself - the seal of God's seal - is the letter tav, simple faith, the conclusion and culmination of all twenty-two forces - letters - active in Creation.

The alef corresponds to one’s initial awareness of Divine paradox in the infinite source (where the higher and lower waters, joy and bitterness, are absolutely one). From this awareness issues mem, the fountain of Divine wisdom, ever- increasing power of insight into the mysteries of Torah. "The final end of knowledge is not to know." The culmination of the flow of Divine wisdom in the soul (after all is said and done) is the "majestic" revelation of the infinite "treasure-house" of simple faith in God's absolute omnipresence below innate in the soul of Israel. The culmination of truth simple faith is the secret of the "tav."
"All follows the seal," in the secret of "returning light" from the tav to the alef, thereby forming the word ta, "cell."...
