Rev 1: 3 Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy,

This is just a 'general' overview of Feasts and the events of Revelation that I see from my own study.
Just as when JESUS was here in His '1st coming', Passover events were taking place yearly before He Himself fulfilled the 1st 3 feasts, Passover, Unleavened Bread and Firstfruits simultaneously on their date [14, 15, 16 Nisan] and 50 days later fulfilled Shavuot / Pentecost by sending the Holy Spirit upon His apostles and disciples [Acts 2]. When JESUS returns the 2nd time, it is expected, that although there are feast day events such as the sighting of the 'new moon' (the birth of the male child [Rev 2:27; Rev 12] taking place - -JESUS HIMSELF will fulfill these feasts as He did the first time. When He returns in the 'DAY of the LORD', it appears He will fulfill Yom Teruah HIMSELF as He raises the dead [1Th 4:13 through 5:11; 1Co 15:23 & 51 & 52; Rev 20:4], then fights Armageddon to restore than land to Israel [Yom Kippur] and remain to rule and reign for 1000 years [Sukkot / Tabernacles].

There are details with knowing the feasts that help establish the timeline for the churches. The introduction of Messiah / Christ to each church sets a prophetic timeframe as well as the promises made to each church. The promises dovetail with the timing of the trumpet judgments. And also remember that Jesus is returning to 'reign for 1000 years - so when He does return - at the end - He's staying . That is when the dead in Christ are raised first (according to Rev 20:4 / 1st resurrection) and the rapture (1Th 4:15 thru 18 which directly continues in 1Th 5:1-11 firmly establishing this event as the 'Day of the Lord'.)
1Pe 3 makes it clear that the ‘Day of the Lord’ is a ‘1000 year day’ at which – at the end of the 1000 years – the heavens and earth pass away – which agrees with Rev 20:11. The 2nd resurrection (from Rev 20:5) takes place) - the white throne judgment – and then on the ‘7th Day’ (next millenium)- new heavens and earth in which [Rev 21] the New Jerusalem descends from heaven to earth.
Where do we APPEAR to be in the timeline right now – giving the saros cycle calendar consideration– and particularly with Israel and Iran poised for war - - -
I believe the ‘seal judgments’ are a near thought – which occur PRIOR to the tribulation period. I don’t believe the seal judgments are running now even though we have Israel’s presence as a nation – and the holocaust and wars - - but because of the necessity of declaring ‘a messiah’ who lead them in battle.
And that seems to be what the first seal is. Israel is now believing that 2016 will usher in this era.
Jesus says, in Mat 24, that many ‘false christs’ as the beginning of sorrows before being delivered up for tribulation.
