Chaim Bentorah

I was introduced to Kindle, receiving one as a gift.  So I started to browse some books that I thought might be of interest to me.  The first one, of course, was Strong's Concordance and several versions of the Bible to have handy at the touch of my finger.  Then I searched for Brian Simmons, 'the Passion Translation', knowing he had a Hebrew / Greek background and used the depth of the Words to translate the Scripture.   Here's one you can check out:  'I hear His whisper'

Somewhere in this search I came across 'Chaim Ben Torah's' books '.  Intrigued by the 'pen name' I looked to see what he offered and put them on my wish list of which I have now ordered - and have been reading.

Wo!  All I can say is that it is like I found a 'hidden treasure chest'.   I first read his 'Call to Silence' and that was confirmation of much of what has been spoken to me this past year.  And now am reading 'A search for the heart of God'.

For those looking for the deeper walk -  and a viable relationship with Christ - - - these would be the books to ponder.  He is much like Oswald Chambers, but the sharing in the depth of the Hebrew heart.

Four for 99 cents each  - and one book for $3.49 US on digital download - -  how can one go wrong.  Paperbacks are available also at a higher price.

Chaim Bentorah has a BA in Jewish studies from Moody Bible Institute, an MA in Old Testament and Hebrew from Denver Seminary, and a PhD in biblical archeology. He taught Hebrew at World Harvest Bible College for thirteen years as well as a language course for the Christian Center High School.
