Revelation 17

Have yet been pondering Revelation 17 in regards to the third heaven - SHECHAQIM - revealing the MILLSTONE / the GRINDING of the millstone of heaven against the millstone of earth. The 'grinding' culminates in the making of 'fine flour'. The grain offering is of fine flour, anointed with oil, unleavened, with frankincense [lebonaw] - as was Jacob's service to Laban [law-bawn' from lebonaw] to make white, purify. Jacob desired Rachel for a wife but instead received Leah [weary; impatient; weak of eyes]. Laban promised Jacob his beloved Rachel [ewe lamb] in exchange for 7 years labor. The Lamb of God has a wife of 'like-kind' - a 'ewe lamb'.

Thinking of Israel today - 'Lebanon' sits just north of Israel, possibly the frankincense for the 'grain offering'. Selah!

PEH is the 17th letter of the Hebrew alphabet meaning MOUTH. PEH's numerical value is that of the Hebrew word tov, "good." When God 'created' all of His creation, He called it GOOD. And when God created he initially SPOKE. Out of the 'abundance of the heart' the MOUTH speaks and "the heart of the wise informs his mouth." Each of us either speak with the mouth of God or with the mouth of the wicked. This speaking is 'creative speaking' from an 'intimate knowing'. PEH, is also said to be as a 'kiss' of the mouth or it can also be the 'death of the kiss'. Judas betrayed Christ with a kiss having received the deep revelations of knowledge from Christ's mouth. Judas, after his betrayal, hung himself and that place today is yet called 'the field of blood':

Matthew 27
7 And they consulted together and bought with them the potter's field,
..to bury strangers in.
8 Therefore that field has been called the Field of Blood to this day.
9 Then was fulfilled what was spoken by Jeremiah the prophet, saying,
.."And they took the thirty pieces of silver, the value
..of Him who was priced, whom they of the children of Israel priced,
10 and gave them for the potter's field, as the Lord directed me.

The potter can yet been seen working the clay.

Lamentations 4:2
The precious sons of Zion, Valuable as fine gold,
How they are regarded as clay pots, the work of the hands of the potter!

And now we meet the 'scarlet woman' and the 'scarlet beast' that carries her - in the sense of PEH - because she has had intimate revelation from the mouth of Him who loves her, but is yet in her sin of unbelief.

Isaiah 1:18
"Come now, and let us reason together," Says the Lord,
"Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow;
Though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

..3 So he carried me away in the Spirit into the wilderness. And I saw a woman
....sitting on a scarlet beast which was full of names of blasphemy,
....having seven heads and ten horns.

The wilderness journey is associated with the camel, the angel of death [the ministry of death being the 'law'], and being 'weaned to the Word, having received the Spirit of Life in Christ. When Israel was first in the wilderness they had succumbed to the temptation to 'return to Egypt'. They built the 'golden calf' and began to worship it. In Revelation 11 the city where our Lord was crucified is revealed as 'spiritual Egypt'. The woman [Revelation 12] has fled to the wilderness and is now seen sitting on a beast which was FULL of names of blasphemy. The scarlet beast now rivals the golden calf.

........9 In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven,
..........Hallowed be Your name.
......10 Your kingdom come.
..........Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven.
......11 Give us this day our daily bread.
......12 And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors.
......13 And do not lead us into temptation,
..........But deliver us from the evil one.
..........For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

d DALET: DOOR: LIFE & DEATH (in the power of the TONGUE)
..4 The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and
....precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations
....and the filthiness of her fornication.

Dalet is also called the 'poor man / humble man' who enters into God's dwelling.

..5 And on her forehead a name was written:
.... MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS
....AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

Indirect reference to 'thoughts, words, action. But definitely 'Behold the harlot' -
the revelation of the harlot now to be seen.

..6 I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints
....and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus.
....And when I saw her, I marveled with great amazement.

The Meaning of the Woman and the Beast

z ZAYIN: SWORD: WORD of GOD / SABBATH REST
...........the SWORD brings JUDGMENT
..7 But the angel said to me, "Why did you marvel? I will tell you
....the mystery of the woman and of the beast that carries her,
....which has the seven heads and the ten horns.

x CHET: CHUPPA: CONSUMMATE LOVE / LIFE
... the CHUPPA is the protection of marriage, Babylon is a harlot
..8 The beast that you saw was, and is not, and will ascend out of the
....bottomless pit and go to perdition. And those who dwell on the earth
....will marvel, whose names are not written in the Book of Life from the
....foundation of the world, when they see the beast that was, and is not,
....and yet is.

..9 Here is the mind which has wisdom: The seven heads are
....seven mountains on which the woman sits.

The mind that has wisdom is grounded in the Word, not doubting.

10 There are also seven kings. Five have fallen, one is, and the other has not
... yet come. And when he comes, he must continue a short time.

Indirect reference to authority. It is well to look at Genesis. The war of the kings 5- against 4 can also give insight to this thought.

k KAF: PALM of hand or CLOUD: POWER to SUPPRESS evil
11 The beast that was, and is not, is himself also the eighth, and is of the seven,
....and is going to perdition [hlk].

Evil is now being suppressed.

l LAMED: HEART or SHEPHERD STAFF: DISCIPLES
12 The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom
....as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast.

Indirect reference to the 'shepherd staff'. Rulership is from the heart.

m MEM: WATER / WISDOM of the WORD: MESSIAH
13 These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast.

Indirect reference to 'wisdom'.

n NUN: FISH or SEED: KINGDOM HEIR (S) / OFFSPRING
14 These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them,
....for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called,
....chosen, and faithful."

King, heir to the throne, and kingdom offspring

15 Then he said to me, "The waters which you saw, where the harlot sits,
....are peoples, multitudes [js], nations, and tongues.

A harlot has profaned marriage not relying on / trusting her husband.

16 And the ten horns which you saw on the beast, these will hate the harlot,
....make her desolate and naked [ery(], eat her flesh and burn her with fire.

p PEH: MOUTH: CURSE or BLESSING
17 For God has put it into their hearts to fulfill His purpose, to be of one mind,
....and to give their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God are fulfilled.

Words proceed from the mouth.

c TZADI: FISH HOOK / RIGHTEOUSNESS / CHAOS
18 And the woman whom you saw is that great city which
... reigns over the kings of the earth."

That 'great city' was called in righteousness but has lent herself to chaos.
