Jerusalem/Babylon & SHECHAQIM 4 of 4

SHECHAQIM - the 'third heaven' reveals the 'millstones'. [See post 73 on 8-11]. The picture I see of this heaven- SHECHAQIM / the MILLSTONES - is the coming together of heaven and earth - in a grinding that produces a 'dust', even a 'fine flour' grain offering, the 'dust cloud of the righteous ones', while at the same time this grinding suppressing evil.

We are headed up to Revelation 18 [TAV TZADI - the faith of the righteous One]. God's bride is 'New Jerusalem' [Rev 21] who is called the 'city of peace'.

Jerusalem, as did Messiah Christ, is to steward God's authority having a mind beginning in wisdom - the fear of the Lord. Just as Messiah / Christ came as 'anointed healer', so too Jerusalem to her own and to the nations. Authority - 'author- ity' - first speaks of 'author - ship'. Messiah / Christ is 'author and finisher of faith' [Hebrews 12:2]

Revelation 18:2 tells of the fall of the harlot Babylon whose beginning was told in Genesis10:10 [a master's servant authority]. Note the position telling of Babylon's fall- verse 2 - 'wife relationship'.

Seven [7] is the number of Sabbath rest (from wickedness)]. It is the number of the 'King's Queen', the Queen who is at rest (from wickedness / harlotry). In Genesis 7 God sent a flood and destroyed wickedness. He spared Noah [whose name means rest] and his sons and wives - a total of 8 souls significant of covenant - of 'consummate life'. Now, 3 chapters later, (when a child should be 'weaned to the Word') chapter 10 YUD [10 being the number for 'hand', as a servant carrying God's authority] we meet Nimrod, a 'mighty hunter ydc ' - a TZADIK - righteous one before the Lord. Nimrod is known as the 'valiant one' - as lion-hearted - but his name has the dual meaning of REBELLION. Nimrod founds a city - BABEL / BABYLON [confusion by mixing]. Rebellion by a steward carrying God's authority is EVIL.

Fast forwarding ahead as a side note is that the Word made flesh and dwelt among us - Messiah / Christ - the son of man was born of the 'Spirit of the Lord's' overshadowing MARY. Mary means 'rebellion'. God raises Joseph [Jehovah has added / brought increase] to wed Mary as God's plan for Jerusalem, Israel, for restoration from 'rebellion'.

Looking again at Babel, it is in the country of Shinar (two rivers [rapid + fruitfulness]). Out of that country came Asshur [successful] who built Nineveh [abode of Ninus] and Resen [bridle] - Genesis 10:12 which is also the first mention of a 'great city '[See also Revelation 17:18] .

Nineveh hwnyn
Nineveh is the capital of Assyria, built by Nimrod (Genesis 10:10). It's also the city to which Jonah was sent (Jonah 1:2).

"The beginning of his kingdom was Babel and Erech and Accad and Calneh, in the land of Shinar. From that land he went forth into Assyria, and built Nineveh and Rehoboth-Ir and Calah, and Resen between Nineveh and Calah; that is the great city." - Genesis 10:10-12

In cognate languages the city of Nineveh was known as Nina, Ninua or Ninu, so the Hebrew rendering of Nineveh should be expected to be a meaningless transliteration more than a deliberate name. However, the form Nineveh may have reminded a Hebrew audience of a combination of ayn (nin) and hwn (naweh):

ayn (nin) means offspring, from the root ayn (nun) meaning propagate, increase. ayn (nun).
hwn (naweh) means dwelling, from the root hwn (nawa) meaning keep at home.

Jones' Dictionary of Old Testament Proper Names reads Offspring's Habitation, or Habitation Of Ninus, where Ninus is a powerful, historical figure, who remains otherwise unmentioned by the Bible.


So to begin, we left off last month [post 78 on 8/21/11] looking at Samek, the wedding ring having its end enwedged its beginning, noting the repentant prodigal welcomed and given the royal robe. In Revelation 11 two anointed 'lampstands' are pondered considering Revelation 2 and 3's seven lampstands, two of which are faithful. These two witnesses are killed and resurrected from the dead 3 1/2 days later and called to heaven. Revelation 12 then notes the 'woman' who gave birth to the 'male child' having to flee into the wilderness for 42 months from the presence of 'the serpent'.

In Revelation 13 [MEM] wisdom reveals the number of the beast as 666
In Revelation 14 [NUN] kingdom offspring - 144,000 Jews sealed with the testimony of the Lamb.

In Revelation 15 [SAMEK] those who have victory over the beast and his number

SAMEK is said to lift the 'fallen NUN [kingdom heir(s)]. As it lifted Christ crucified it also lifts the martyrs, and the repentant to resurrection (consummate) life.

In Revelation 16 [AYIN] the number of 'divine providence', God's eye watching over Israel.
............................We see the spirits of demons working miracles, signs and wonders.
............................This amidst the seven bowl judgments.

In Revelation 17 [PEH] the judgment on the great harlot - BABYLON

Going back to Exodus, note the tabernacle with its 'ten curtains' and its adornment and then note the 'woman on the scarlet beast': arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls and the ten horns, the ten kings who hate the harlot and will make her desolate
