DARKNESS and LIGHT

I've been hearing the soft warble, in the chill air, of cranes flying south as I shout to the sky, 'Don't go - not yet!'. So of necessity we have been on a firewood break knowing that snow and darkness will soon be upon us. As I listen to the roar of the saw zipping thru the wood, I'm thankful for our bobcat to 'move the mountain, as it stacks up. But I'd rather be 'blogging than logging', so I've been using the time as a 'think break' too.

Selah! Think about it. In Genesis God created the heavens and the earth and [Gen 1:2] God's spirit hovered over the earth because DARKNESS was on the face of the earth. This 'darkness', is described as obscurity, 'secret places', confusion. In the next verse of Genesis God calls for LIGHT. LIGHT dispels, disseminates - DIS - SEMINATE [kills the reproductive seed of] - darkness.

JESUS overcame DARKNESS

We have a choice to make between DARKNESS and LIGHT - and what we love 'the most' will prevail. Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks and what we speak will prevail . Let there be light - and 'there was'. Actions speak louder than - and follow - words, as in the demonstration of power that Paul speaks of. [1Co 2:4]

To walk in the LIGHT we must first be teachable, ready to accept control and instruction by CONNECTING to the Word of God, which is the beginning of wisdom in the 'fear of the Lord'.


Psalm 107
CHET: CHUPPA: CONSUMMATE LIFE
8 Oh, that men would give thanks to the LORD for His goodness,
And for His wonderful works to the children of men!

TET: SNAKE or GOOD WORD DOUBT or BELIEVE
9 For He satisfies the longing soul, ..
And fills the hungry soul with goodness.

YUD: HAND:
GRASP; TAKE HOLD of Word
10 Those who sat in darkness and in the shadow of death,
.....Bound in affliction and irons

KAF: PALM of HAND
to SUPPRESS EVIL
11 Because they rebelled against the words of God,
...And despised the counsel of the Most High ...

Note - those who 'sat in darkness' were bound in affliction - because they rebelled against the Word of God. " Let us not be of those who despise - have disregard for - the Word of God, able to perform what it is sent forth to do. Is our light, the Word of God, shining in our darkness? Is the problem - or the Word of God - on our lips? Our own mouth is witness - for or against us: obedience or rebellion. We speak is what we believe - most.

JESUS, the WORD of GOD, IS SAVING - HEALTH

Let us not be double-minded - on earth as it is in heaven.
Speaking 'rebellion' destroys the DIVINE PROVIDENCE
of SAVING HEALTH that God has given us through
Jesus Christ.

John 3:19
And this is the condemnation,
that the light has come into the world,
and men loved darkness rather than light,
because their deeds were evil.
