Messiah Christ has borne the # 'punishment of sins' on the cross, thus bringing sons (ISRAEL: to rule as a prince) into a x consummate life of q holiness (the relationship of the q CROWN. The 'CROWN' , as a letter (form) , has come from 'rZ harlotry to q holiness'.
God is taking a people for Himself - a HOLY BRIDE - chosen (tried, tested) and faithful. But there exists a warfare (within Jerusalem) between the Spirit (the Holy Jerusalem) and the flesh (the harlot Babylon). In Genesis 2 [BEYT: WIFE / RELATIONSHIP] God 'builds' woman from Adam's rib and places them in the Garden of Eden:
God placed mankind under His - Y - AUTHORITY. In Genesis Y 10: Y 10, Nimrod (the valiant one / but in rebellion) has as the beginning of his kingdom - BABEL / BABYLON (confusion by mixing) and Erech (long), and Accad (subtle [as a serpent]), and Calneh (fortress of Anu [chief God of the Great Triad]), in the land of Shinar (country of two rivers). [Hiddekel / Tigris: rapid / arrow and the Euphrates: fruitful]. In 2 Kings, the King of Assyria brings men from Babylon [confusion] and established them , mixing them with the people) in Samaria (the watch mountain) instead of the children of Israel. He also brought men from Cuthah (crushing), Ava (ruin), Hamath (fortress), and Sepharvaim (a double city / the two Sipparas [booktowns]).
Babylon is mentioned approximately 262 times in the OT - 149 of those references in Jeremiah alone. The NT has 11 references to Babylon. The 70 years captivity in Babylon began with Daniel [ ad judge] and were subsequently fulfilled when the Jews returned to Jerusalem in the first year of Cyrus [possess thou the furnace], King of Persia [pure]. Cyrus conquered Babylon [a mixed (up) people] and in the first year of his reign, he decreed that the Jews could return to Jerusalem to rebuild their temple. This fulfilled Isaiah and Jeremiah's prophecy who also prophesied of 'new heavens and a new earth'. Looking at the 'generations', 'Babylon' is used as a focal point:
Matthew 1:17 So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations,
from David until the captivity in Babylon are fourteen generations,
and from the captivity in Babylon until the Christ are fourteen generations.
Altogether - 42 generations. Daniel's vision foresaw 'thrones being put in place and one like the Son of Man coming with the CLOUDS of heaven'. To HIM will be given a kingdom that will not pass away.
Daniel 7 [ZAYIN: Sabbath rest] also noted a 4th kingdom which shall 'devour the WHOLE EARTH' and trample it into pieces. (And since the 'whole earth' is not yet devoured I take this to be yet future). Ten kings arise from this kingdom and another rises AFTER them. He shall speak pompous words against the most High and persecute God's people (the saints) for a time, times and half a time (1260 days / 42 months). But the heavenly court will be seated and take away his dominion at which time the kingdom passes to the 'saints'. Daniel is later instructed to 'seal the book until the time of the end'.
In Revelation 11 [KAF: POWER to SUPPRESS evil] John is yet in vision - in heaven - and an angel instructs John to measure the temple (New Jerusalem in heaven?) but to leave out the 'outer court - outside' [Jerusalem on earth ?] which would be trampled by the Gentiles for 42 months.
Revelation 11
2 But leave out the court which is outside the temple, and do not measure it,
..for it has been given to the Gentiles [nations, peoples, locusts, multitude, troops].
..And they will tread the holy city underfoot for forty-two months.
3 And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy
..one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth."
Remember Paul who was on the road to Damascus when he was 'blinded by the light' and heard the voice of God and was sent to the 'street called Straight'? Damascus means 'silent is the sackcloth weaver'. The 'two witnesses' prophesy in sackcloth and are noted as 'two lampstands', anointed ones, of which the book of Revelation begins with '7 lampstands', 4 of which are spoken of in chapter 2 [BEYT, wife relationship] as 'loveless, persecuted [martyrs], compromised and corrupt - - and 3 lampstands in chapter 3 [GIMEL: Angel of Death / reward and punishment] called as 'dead (whose names are in danger of being blotted out), faithful, and the lukewarm (whom Christ will vomit from his mouth). These two 'olive trees' (lights) - two 'lampstands' are killed at the end of their prophecy (as was Christ / anointed) and whose dead bodies are raised after 3 1/2 days, (as was Christ after 3 days), who are also seen ascending into heaven (as was Christ).
GILGAL is a word interpreted as HEAVEN as well as translated WHIRLWIND. Heaven [sha-mayim] is fire and water. GILGAL is WIND (the Spirit) and the camp of the Israelites when taking the promised land. They went from Gilgal [the whirlwind] to Jericho [the monthly cycle of the moon] - the moon as a perfect witness of light. They went from Gilgal to AI [a heap of ruins]- and failed. The two witnesses of Revelation - do not fail. Just as the prophets and apostles before them, they overcome by the blood of the Lamb, the Word of their testimony and love not their lives to the death.
Revelation 11
12 And they heard a loud voice from heaven
... saying to them, "Come up here."
... And they ascended to heaven in a cloud,
... and their enemies saw them,
13 In the same hour there was
... a great earthquake,
... and a tenth of the city fell.
... In the earthquake seven thousand
... people were killed,
... and the rest were afraid
... and gave glory to the God of heaven.
Revelation 11 ends with:
19 Then the temple of God was opened
... in heaven ,
... and the ark of His covenant was seen
...in His temple. And there were lightnings,
...noises, thunderings, an earthquake,
...and great hail.
7000 were killed. Thinking on Elijah [God is Jehovah] and Elisha [God is salvation], God told Elijah that he had reserved 7000 witnesses who had not bowed the knee to Baal. Elisha saw Elijah ascend into heaven (as the apostles also saw Christ), then as promised, Elisha received the double portion and mantle.
Revelation 11 is the chapter we see 'death and resurrection', 'witnesses (Jerusalem's child) being caught up to the throne'. 11 ends on the note of God's POWER to SUPPRESS evil:
17 Because You have taken Your great power and reigned.
18 The nations were angry, and Your wrath has come,
.......And the time of the dead, that they should be judged,
.......And that You should reward Your servants the prophets and the saints,
.......And those who fear Your name, small and great,
.......And should destroy those who destroy the earth."
Revelation 12 LAMED: [the HEART of a disciple] begins with a victorious woman having the 'moon under her feet', her 'monthly cycle, in her control. Along with the victorious woman, a dragon', [Jerusalem (faithful character) vs Babylon (harlot character)]. The woman's child is 'caught up to the throne (the end of chapter 11) - a remnant who has not 'bowed their knee' overcomes by the blood of the Lamb, the word of their testimony and loves their lives not - - to the death' - a disciples heart. Revelation 12 continues with with happenings during 1260 days and what appears to be the 'devil's short time' and an unveiling of Daniel's prophecy - and the destruction of the 'harlot' BABYLON.

In the Book of Revelation (after Christ) John, like Daniel, is given a vision of 'the end' and 'Babylon yet lives':
Looking at a continuity of REVELATION:
1 ALEF ........ MASTER .....John's vision of CHRIST
2 BEYT:........ WIFE ...........The loveless, persecuted (MARTYRS), compromising, and corrupt
3 GIMEL:...... ANGEL ....... The DEAD, the faithful, and the lukewarm

Considering SHECHAQIM:
In Revelation 10 [YUD: authority vs. rebellion] an angel, clothed with a cloud, having a rainbow on his head, his face like the sun, and his feet like pillars of fire appears and begins an utterance which John is not allowed to write. The seventh angel is 'about' to sound at which time the 'mystery of God would be finished, as He declared to His servants the prophets.'
